Merrijig Public Hall

About the Hall
The Merrijig Public Hall was built in the 1930s by the Mountain Cattleman & their families as a place to socialize in the small township.
It has been used for many events over the years & is still a place to get together for the locals, with regular exercise & sewing groups, private & community functions & local school activities.
It is also a registered Safer Neighbourhood place in the event of bush fires & is used as a base for Search & Rescue in the area.
