How to Handel your Messiah

EVENT DATE: Saturday 11 November 2017

Held annually in Warrnambool, the Messiah Boot Camp caters for singers wanting to brush up on some of the choruses from Handel’s Messiah, in anticipation of the various end-of-year performances that are on offer. Bring your own music, or borrow a score on the day. The cost of $25 includes morning and afternoon tea, and rehearsal tracks in the form of a CD or mp3 files. To take part in this wonderful day, book in advance on info@alextech.com.au, ring Jeanette on (03) 5561 2291, or just turn up at the Mozart Hall at 9.45 for a 10 am start Feel free to bring some food to share, and enjoy good company over a very convivial lunch.

VICTORIA, Warrnambool, Movem-Bool

For almost a decade Warrnambool’s Tin Shed Singers have supported the Movember Foundation and their drive to improve mens’ health. The main fundraiser is their annual Movem-Bool concert, a melee of popular acts all coming together to highlight the importance of men looking after themselves! It is always irreverent, boisterous and has the best sausage sizzle for miles around.
