In 2016 we celebrated our 60th year with the Australia Day dance. Over the years Film night were regularly held, basketball was played in the main hall, the Layland brothers were a hit showing their travel films. Dances and Balls were always popular. In recent times the focus has changed to exercise classes weekly, school concerts, large funerals as the venue will hold 600 people, conferences, artistic displays, music concerts and Weddings just to name a few. Last financial year we recorded 8632 used the venue. Not bad for a small timber town.
