The Ruffy Artfest is a biennial art show and open gardens which has been going for 12 years. The art show is an exhibition of quality artwork of mixed mediums which is attracting a larger number of artists each time. The Open Gardens are local exceptional gardens which offer different aspects of what can be done in the local environment. Artists will be on site demonstrating their skills (such as silk embroidery, watercolour techniques, sculpture using old farm machinery, cigarbox guitars and jewelry making) during the weekend. Food and drinks will be available on site.

The Ruffy Hall was originally known as the Ruffy Mechanics Institute and is over 125 years old. It has been renovated to include a new stage and professional kitchen, rear skillion and open fireplace but retains the original tongue and groove wood work in the ceilings and walls. It is cherished by the local community and used regularly for live performances (RuffArtZ), private celebrations, meetings and events such as the Ruffy Artfest.
