EVENT DATE: Saturday 14 November & Sunday 15 November
A huge success when first presented at the Edinburgh Festival, this play is an hilarious comedy as things don’t go quite to plan when a bunch of misfit ladies, with the help?? of their director David and stage manager, Henry, attempt to present their own, – original in the extreme – production of Shakespeare’s tragegy Macbeth for the local Drama competition under the watchful, and carefully mascara’d, eye of the adjudicator Mr. George Peach. In the words of the Edinburgh Evening News’ critic “Move Burnham Wood to Dunsinane but catch this”

ABOUT THE HALL:
The history of the Moonambel Hall- formerly Mechanics Institute Reserve is documented in the book ‘If these Walls could talk.’
The Pyrenees Shire has been very good to the hall committee & we have just had a brand new kitchen built. The first hall was washed away in the floods of Nov./Dec. 1933 so this hall was opened in 1937.
The hall has played host to all the usual community activities, such as school concerts; church luncheons/teas; cabarets; wedding breakfasts ; trivia nights; exhibitions; life’ drawing classes; markets etc.
