ABOUT THE HALL:

St Marys Community Hall was built in the 1950’s; by the town for the town. In it’s heyday it was the venue for many dances catering to our local rural communities. It has a magnificent parquetry floor and in 2007 extensive work was done by our Council upgrading to first rate acoustics. The past three years has seen massive increase in the use of this community facility by many and varied groups. It is the home base for nearly all activities arranged by our local Regional Arts group including art displays, photographic exhibitions, productions. halloween, youth activities, regular workshops, monthly markets and in mid 2014 “Festival of Voices – Unplugged” made its inaugural appearance. Our Community Hall has come alive again and bigger things for 2015 are currently being planned.
