VICTORIA, Bruthen, Regional Arts Victoria, Regional Cultural Forum

EVENT DATE: 6 November 2014

Looking after number one:
Art, health and succession planning

Do you wish you had a better understanding of how to look after yourself, your arts practice and your arts organisation? We have scheduled two Regional Cultural Forums in Bruthen and Kaniva in regional Victoria that will focus on how to put you and your arts practice first. You’ll also hear about the world of management and community engagement and learn various ways to think about succession planning that could assist with ensuring the continuing future of your arts group.

Regional Arts Victoria staff members along with local artists and organisations will be there to help guide the way through the day!

By the end of the day you will have:
• Gained great tips about how to better look after yourself, your arts practice and your arts organisation
• Had the opportunity to hear from regional arts groups about how their organisations have grown and why
• Gained knowledge about how to better understand and work with your arts group
• Received practical knowledge about maintaining a healthy work life balance
