ABOUT THE HALL

NEW NAMBROK HALL An Ambitious Enterprise. If any tangible evidence were wanted of what can be accomplished in this district by community effort let attention be directed to the monument of local enterprise at Nambrok-the new public hall. Some years ago conflicting interests caused-but that is another story; it is “to-day that’s sweet.” A visit of inspection at once causes astonishment and wonderment as to how it was done. Previously there stood two ordinary country district halls about two miles apart; to-day there stands a beautifully appointed hall and annexes that would do credit to areas of a thousand population. The hall may be described as aero plane shape, the wings being the ante-rooms.
